Disable the recent documents in Ubuntu 9.10

To disable recent documents in Ubuntu 9.10, Open your terminal and type:

touch ~/.gtkrc-2.0

Then, edit the file with gedit :

sudo gedit ~/.gtkrc-2.0

And Add following, save and close the file

gtk-recent-files-max-age=0

Restart gnome,the recent documents won’t appear anymore.
